What is a WBE?
WBE (Women's Business Enterprise) is an independent business concern that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women who are U.S. citizens or Legal Resident Aliens; whose business formation and principal place of business are in the US or its territories; and whose management and daily operation is controlled by one or more of the women owners. Integrated Technology Providers Inc "ITP Group" is a 100% woman owned Business.

ITPI Group is recognized through the Cook County certification process for women-owned businesses which is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications.

What exactly does it mean to be "certified as a WBE"?
Being certified as a WBE means that a business concern has gone through a rigorous and stringent certification process to confirm the business is owned, managed, and controlled by a woman or women.

What is a MBE?
MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) is an independent business Minority-owned concern that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more "Minority group members, who are U.S. citizens or Legal Resident Aliens; whose business formation and principal place of business are in the US or its territories; and whose management and daily operation is controlled by one or more of the "Minority group member owners. ITPI Group is a 100% Minority Owned Business. "Minority group members" are United States citizens who are Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American.

ITPI Group is recognized through the CMSDC certification process for Minority-owned businesses which is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation. The MBDA Business Center (MBC) is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and is operated by the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (Chicago MSDC), a premier organization that for over 40 years has been dedicated to the development of Minority Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs).

We have also been certified through the City of Chicago and Cook County.

BEP & Small Business Set-Aside Program

What is BEP?
An BEP is a business that has been certified through the State of Illinois Business Enterprise Program to promote and encourage the continuing economic development of minority, female and person with a disability owned and operated businesses in Illinois.

An An BEP business is at least 51% owned by one or more minority, female and person with a disability or, in the case of a corporation, at least 51% of the stock in which is owned by one or more minority, female and person with a disability, and the management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more minority, female and person with a disability who own it. ITPI Group is a 100% Woman Owned Business. The 51% owners must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

 

8(a) Business Development

 

What is the 8(a) Business Development Program?
The 8(a) Business Development Program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.

The 8(a) Program is an essential instrument for helping socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs gain access to the economic mainstream of American society. The programs helps thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs to gain a foothold in government contracting.
